In Love Again

copyright 1992 Southside

A fantasy A dream of you in the night
Making love by the light
Of a fiery moon lit sky tonight

You take my hand
We’re warmed by the pale candlelight
Leaving our fears far behind
While I hold you in my arms again

I hold you close
Feeling your heartbeat with mine
Sharing our love you and I…
And our Love

Won’t you save me now?
I think I’m falling in love again
Hear my heart when it calls
I think that I’m in love again
I won’t tell you it’s over
And I’ll never change a thing
Lord help me now,
‘Cause I’m in love again

The dying embers burn in the fire
As the tears roll down my face
Now you’re gone and this lonely heartache
Never seems to go away

I think of you
Every time I cry
And every time I try
To hold you in my arms again

I need you now
Let me feel your heartbeat with mine
Sharing our love you and I…
And our Love

Won’t you save me now?
I think I’m falling in love again
Hear my heart when it calls
I think that I’m in love again
I won’t tell you it’s over
And I’ll never change a thing
Lord help me now ,
‘Cause I’m in love again

Fun Facts: Another tune I wrote with Southside. The recorded version features a beautiful piano background that was played by our drummer. We didn’t do the piano accompaniment live, but our other guitar player, Earl, added a palm muted rhythmic accent live. It really worked well behind my softer chord phrasings. I would also like to point out that Earl played a tremendous solo. It’s my favorite guitar solo from all of the Southside songs. It’s also one of my favorite solos from any band. Yaay Earl !! We also had a some radio play on the local radio station.
