Eulogy

Here lies a man who did the very best he could.
Family meant everything to him.
He tried to do what was right.
No one knew where the road would lead.
He was an imperfect man who fell short many times.
The word “love” would flow freely from his lips.
He tried to make the best decisions he could when others made no decision at all.
He tried to be helpful, caring and empathetic.
He believed God brought people together for a reason.
He struggled with seeing the good in some folks, but he saw too much good in others.
He only wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of the family he loved dearly
Strangers became his friends.
Rest now. You are heading home.
God knows his struggles.
God knows his heart.
God knows the twists in the road.
Be at peace now.
St. Cecilia please sing him a song if you see him.
